What are the best ads to display on social networking sites?

would it be adsense, yahoo ads? adbrite? affiliate banners? cpm?

It depends on what site is about. Adsense and yahoo make money but you can make more if you have a good affiliate program.

Find one that fits your site topic and you should do better than adsense or yahoo ads.

It's just a social networking just like myspace...not going after any specific type of people.

I wouldn't waste your time on things like myspace and such. you'll get a lot of clicks, but very little to no purchases.

Email/Zip Submits and other lead gens would work very well, as they are targetted at the younger audience and don't require people to purchase anything. They for the most part also involve "hip" electronic devices.

On DecisionsIN.com we haven't had much luck with traditional CPC/A affiliate programs. So as of late we have been looking for affiliates who sell MySpace and other social networking apps. We haven't found too many good ones yet and I definitely would NOT recommend FriendBot. We made many sales for them and they haven't paid us for any. Hate to gripe, but just had a bad experience so I would watch out.

Hope this helps. PM me if you find something good.

Why don't you try promoting weight loss/skin care products?
MN/WN are the best program for that. Check the last link on my signature if you're interested. Whichever you decide, good luck ;)
