Best affiliate software?

I was wondering, i need some affiliate backend software and was wondering what are the ones that would be easy to edit and modify?

 

would like to know that either

 

we use idevaffiliate. Very good and integrates with many ecommerce platforms

There is no "best". It depends on what you really need and what key features you are looking for. e.g. idevaffiliate won't go past 2 tier...

iDevAffiliate has worked well for us as well, but as others have said, there is a tier limitation.

 

For merchants wanting to do it on their own I personally like for them to use http://www.myaffiliateprogram.com/ from Kowabunga.

Some of my best indy merchants use it.

 

Either clickbank or paydotcom.
NOt software, they do all the work for you.
Clickbank collects the money and pays your affiliates.
Paydotcom collects no money, it all goes to your paypal account.
They keep track of what is owed to your affiliates and let you know by email to pay them.
