Obviously for a beginner its going to be hard to make people buy something or fill out a heap of info to get paid per lead... Does anyone have a good idea of a program for beginners, what you can earn from it and how? I would like to promote using social networking youtube etc..
CJ is great, but keep in mind that you have to apply for each advertiser individually. The better the offer, the better your site (possibly some other factors will count also) should be.

First of all you need to learn what is affiliate marketing and how to promote it. Its better to make a blog and post your affiliate link there and then start promoting it.

The best thing to do is to find a profitable niche that appeals to you and then you find affiliate programs in that niche.
Hmm. I already run one website and am building another one which is more in the niche of marketing and making money. Peerfly rejected my original site i'm guessing as its not related to the category enough.. I don't think i'm going to be very good at getting people to open their wallets and buy a product, or get them to download things. I was more after a program that offers me a decent rate (that pays) for impressions, clicks, maybe leads. Or any advice for any beginner is well worth it - thanks to those who have contributed so far.. I am interested to hear how you all made your first money online, too. Give us newbies some hope
