So far the best affiliate program has been MoreNiche (second link in signature). Earn $45 within a day for completing a few simple tasks. Plenty of advertising resources, banners, complete websites, ready to rewrite content. Plus the support staff are on hand to answer your queries and give their own suggestions. Have been very impressed.

Never Blue Ads seem to generate the best ROI for me. Though exclusive (they don't accept any affiliate), they offer high paying and converting products to promote.
It really just depends on the niche. For example, I've had the best luck with the Pharma niche. We've added more Herbal products recently, at a commission of 30-40%!
