I'm in the process of building a couple of different sites. I have never joined an affiliate program before. What are the best affiliate programs for incentivized traffic. Also the other site would be adult oriented. Are there any good or mainstream affiliate programs that accept adult sites now?

For incentivized traffic: check the major CPA networks (ClickBooth, Maxbounty, Azoogle to name a few) they have a lot of campaigns that allow incentivized traffic. For adult sites: you can check with MoreNiche for adult products, AFF and AWE for dating/webcams, Aebn for video theaters... there are a lot of them. I suggest you go to a board dedicated to adult webmasters to read reviews and see what others are saying about each network (for example try GFY - one of the biggest).

Yes, we do have a tons of incentive friendly campaigns. More and more we're becoming known as the place to go for incentives. If you're looking for a specific campaign that you can't find on a network, let me know too and we'll try to recruit for you. If you're running incentive, make sure you take advantage of the reat time sub-ID reporting. It'll make your job much easier down the road.
I agree that maxbounty has some great incentive campaigns as you can reimburse the people for the first month or the shipping amount as still make a killing.
