Best Affiliate Program For Brand New Blog?

Hi there. I just started a brand new sports blog and I am looking to monetize it. I have Google Adsense set up already, but figured why stop there? I was wondering if there are any affiliate programs that accept brand new blogs, or do the good ones only want to partner with established heavily trafficked blogs? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi,

why don't you add some betting banners? Bet-at-home has a good affiliate program!

LOL at your username - eh!

Feel free to checkout my sig for programs aimed at men mostly - sorry for the plug everyone - here is some advice for you OP:

    1. Get rid of your adsense - there are plenty of networks and offers that will accept you gladly even if you are new.

    2. Replace the adsense with well matched offers from these affiliate networks. I.e. if your blog is about sports then yes betting, menshealth, women/dating, finance/etc. - only time will tell what type of people you attract based on your content and delivery of ads vs. content (stick to 80/20 content/ads for now).

    3. When you write - do reviews of the products or services your endorse, include your aff link/redirect. Always write well, always inspire your readers.

    4. In time (Say you pick 4-5 products and programs to promote) - you will see which ones are converting for you and which ones aren't. Eliminate the ones that aren't and you're left with 1-3 good converting offers that will hopefully churn 2-5 sales per 100 clickthroughs. Most good programs offer $30-$100+ per conversion.

    5. Not sure where you are at with your traffic, how you source it, what volume you get, if you know your demographic well enough to marketing to them yet, and how experienced you are with the various programs here; however to get more backlinks and traffic to your blog consider doing promo pieces of the blog itself on high PR sites free including:

    *EzineArticles.com
*YouTube.com <<Don't be lazy make a video or two even with moviemaker if you have to. Or get a webcam...
    *Squidoo.com
    *HubPages.com
*Go to onlywire.com and sign up to all the sites listed, then use onlywire to submit your newest pages/blog posts - it will update all sites listed automatically
    *Utilize digg/stumble et.
*Include your blog feed right here at DP - get one at feedburner.com <<This will index your blog posts hellafast
*When you do your posts - include a banner or two to break up your longer reads, make sure the product is related to the read, don't forget your afflink on the banner.
*Put together a free downloadable and branded guide.pdf of great sports resources, offer it for free/get it viral - include aff links in it and links back to your blog.
*These are all basic and I'm sure you know most of this however it doesn't hurt to throw it in for others, and perhaps there may be a nugget or two for you in there too.

*Best of luck with your journey,
    NC.
