What would you recommend for an pet site ( 500 uniques a day) that makes some money from adsense but propebly could do more? is there anyone that can give a ballpark figure on what would be "normal" ecpm for a petsite using adsens?

If you just whant to cover the domain name i don't think you will have much problem. Adsense will most likely cover hsoting and domain cost for you soon enough.

Have you considered SFI? They have some pet products as well. You could promote retail sales of those products and at the same time build your downline through the binary plan.
