Hi all, I'm fairly new to this but I do have some clue about affiliate marketing. I'm wondering if their are some top books on the subject I should read before I really invest a lot into things, however. If there are some legit ebooks that would be super, but I'm thinking a good real actual book could be more worthwhile, if there are any good ones out there. Thanks
Personally I have found the best way to learn affiliate marketing and other marketing is through forums like this one. You can ask questions, help others and get all of the latest stuff. It's a wealth of free information.
I have to agree with John. Forums are king with affiliate marketing because it changes so often in scope, laws, ethics, techniques, etc.
Alright thanks everyone. That all makes sense. I'll probably check out that one book and see if it looks reasonable, then look around here a good bit as I get going.
You can not learn much from books, you need to try PPC,buy links and test what is converting well and what is not.
I've never read bought or read an ebook since being online and I do affiliate marketing full time now. I learn everything from testing, reading free stuff online and best of all, learning from webmaster and affiliate forums like this one.
There is a lot of books and ebooks "how to live out of affiliate programs" and most of them will be useless for you. You must find your own way, your thing that works. Nobody can tell you what will work for you. Read forums, blogs about affiliate programs and try what will work for you.
