Caps seem to get more attention overall on that map actually.

I don't like your current placement.. the ads fit in well, but when I open a page, my glance as at the exact center. Try moving them down 200PX or so, and move them over to the left somewhere :p

Also, I can't seem to login? I know the password is right, and I even pulled up the email it sent me when I changed it. Are you working on something?

You know I always listen when someone that is making money online has something to say. So I make 150.00 - 300+ a day with adsense so don't listen ...

Place your adsense ad any where you want but for thoses of us who know ....

I know I'm coming to this late, but I would add that where you have the ad links now (top right corner) took me a bit to find. Is this position working out for you?
I would think the best spot on your page would be in another box right where your login box in or just below it.

To get the best possible clickthrough you would need a box right where it says "Get paid to post". For a good clickthrough without metting too much with your layout add a banner size ad above your warning.

That is just based on my experience and site performance.

Ive always been told that ADSENSE ads appearing closest to the left near the scrollbar does very well.

I think this site does it real well... check it out... www.infonewsline.com . Its not fully populated yet but the adsense setup looks good.

    mrdjkcool,

who will click on the ads at that site? That placement and ad color causes a bad look for the over all site. It was a nice design, but the ads spoiled it.

The designer needs to look at that site in Firefox, because it doesn't look too good.

So that was just the problem of my firefox? Any way a good designer must consider browser portabilty too.

I am pretty sure that the human factors folk have said that top center is the best pre-conditioned place. What I don't know is whether conditioning has affected enough people into ignoring standard banner ad sized blocks in the top center to be significant.

I know I place my ads in the bottom center which I know to be a terrible location and that I personally click on bottom center far more often than I do columunar ads. Top center is by far the best place for me to click.
