Best Adsense Placement Tips

Adsense Does Reward you, i have been working with google for 4 months now.. and iam already Getting unbeliavable earnings.. For such a news blog

1) The Location of ads Must be Mostly Above the halfway point of your page,must be atleast one on the header and other on top of the content
2)The ads that yeild Most Earnings For me are 728*90, 336*250.
3)Use Both image rich/text Ads options for the ad
4)Use Text Ads If you are placing them in your Text content
5)Put Kontera, infolinks of affinity Along with Adsense, but remember any other display ad network like adbrite, clicksor etc is not compatible with adsense, you can get banned very easily
6) Use Adsense For Feed>> If your Blog has Lots of Feedreaders, You Can also Place ads in your blog's feeds

How many ad blocks do you put on your pages? When I put 2 336*250 I got higher earnings. But when I added a 160x600 on sidebar, earnings dropped but same CTR.

 

Choose th combiantion that works well for you.. mostly 336*250 and 160*600 are the most clicked ads... you can also have another banner along with them 720*90, You are allowed to have three....... And you can put three link units 728*15, 200*90, 468*15,,
I have Total 6 Ads on my Page... that is the limit allowed by adsense.. i get decent response from all of them

Your 5th point is wrong, Google + adbrite is still a good combination if you have different size of ads. Other wise nice thread.

 

Nice work Aisha you seem to have put lots of hard work on the website. Can you share the approximate amount of money you earn each month? will be much appreciated.

 

You can use adbrite.. but google is always looking for a reason or excuse to ban you.... why risk it play it safe///

Have you tried by yourself to compare it with using text only (not based on message from adsense) ? how long? how much difference? thanks.

 

@ captivano,, it depends what kind of content your site has.. if it's a blog type. i mean text rich website..then you should put text ads inside the content, and if it has lots of images video, graphics, then image/text both will be good,, statistically text ads has better click to visit ratio.
it also Depends on the country where you are getting maximum traffic from,, if your visitors are more educated and literat you should definity opt for more text type ad units, for lesser educated audience image ads are better.. so i think best solution is use both type

How much any you earn from Infolinks compared to Adsense? I mean, if you have both on your pages, and you're earning $100/month from Adsense, how much can you expect from Infolinks?

 

Your ad placement is good but the content isn't that attractive to make me want to visit again. The site just seems a bit dull to me

I disagree with tip #5. When you add Kontera/Infolinks combined with Adsense, it only takes away from Adsense, earning you much LESS!

 

Hey guys, I have 3 ad units on my blog but on all the posts i am getting 1 PSA out of 3 ads. is there any particular reason behind this???
