    Okay, when running a forum, what's the best username for an admin? You're real name? A screen name? The site's name? What's the most effective?

    Seriously though, I don't think matters what-so-ever, I don't think people are going to stop using a forum because of the admin's username. Unless it's something really bizarre like ILikeToHaveSexWithDeadPeople or something.

    I really think the site name is the best.The members know who the main man is.As this is the best forum I've ever seen and the main man uses domain as his name..........................say no more!

    you could also use admin even though its bland u get the message across that u are the boss.... or u cud use BOFH, anything you want basically. i can also depend on your site content. if its a informal website, then ur name / domain etc is good.

    my admin name on my forums is the name im known best as and thats "djtheropy" which is also my dj'ing name.
