Best ad networks for smaller publisher?

I have been looking for a good ad network for awhile, gave up for a bit, but I am now trying again. I have already tried Google Adsense ( it yielded about $4-$5 a day) but it got banned for fraud clicks -_- I've been using contextweb for awhile, but it doesn't yield much and it has very limited banner sizes...

About my site: It is the only fan site that provides tips/help for a small online game. It has absolutely no other competition. We get about 4k views per day and at least 400-500 returning users per day. My site is hosted under a free domain and I don't have plans on upgrading to my own domain any time soon (nor do I have the money for it lol).

Can you guys recommend some good and trustworthy ad networks that my site is legible for? No scams or virus/popup ads please. Any suggestions are very appreciated, thank you so much!!

if you lost adsense than you have to comprise with any other network, since no other network can compete with adsense, so either compromise with low earning or go with site which pays high, but has adware, viruses etc, thats what my experience is

you cannot have everything together in any other network, other than adsense

There are many networks that are all around better than adsense.
Even some mid-level publisher networks are better than adsense.
Of course there are some bad networks with adware/virusus/redirects/etc. But there are other good networks with good payouts and good ads.

Have you got to the bottom of those fraudulent clicks that got you banned from AdSense? Any other top tier ad network would likely ban you as well if similar things were happening. Also - you should get a domain name. They are only $10/yr these days, and definitely worth the investment - most decent ad networks and advertisers will not work with sites without their own domains and so to get the best rates you *need* one!

120k pageviews per day is enough to get into most decent ad networks - take a look at Tribal Fusion, Casale Media, ValueClick, and Burst Media - I've found success with all of these in the past. In fact, I have done some reviews of them and other quality cpm ad networks on AdBalance.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I will try them out.

    masm50:

I haven't a clue who was doing the fraud clicks. The day I got banned I noticed I already had $6 by midday instead of the normal $4, and then bam - ban! Is there anyway I can prevent fraud clicks?

I'm not entirely sure how to get my own domain name, and I would also have to change around a lot of links. My site host sells domain names, but at a very expensive price and I haven't a clue how to link it with some other domain host.

I don't know about cache but the strange thing is I can not see the impressions in Google website for couple of days back and people do come from google which I have seen in Google Analytics, so something is going on with Google.

@Vallina The best way to try and determine where these fraudulent clicks claim from is to work with Google on the subject - reach out to them and say you think someone has been fraudulently clicking your ads and if they can help you out. They might be able to give you the IP addresses of the offending clickers.

For most hosting solutions you should be able to buy a domain from any registrar you like and simply point the domain to your host's nameservers. There will likely be a guide in your host's FAQ.

I personally buy all my domains from NameCheap and have found their service and prices great, but there are plenty of other options around like GoDaddy if you prefer them - whichever you choose you should not be paying over $15/yr for a .com domain.

I did contact google about the fraudulent clicks but they said they would not release such information and it says they will withhold the information in their FAQs as well. Would it be against ad network rules if I wrote "Ads - do not spam click" above the ads?

I'll check out those sites and figure out the domain issue!

If you run the ads through your own ad server (even Google Ad Manager if they let you use that still) then you might be able to find the IPs of the fraudulent clickers yourself.
I don't think advertisers or ad networks would be particularly keen to advertise on a site that needs to say something like "Do not spam click" on their site. I have no idea abut whether it would be against their terms though

The sad fact is, Google's word is God's when it comes to Adsense/Adwords banning. As you found out they won't tell you why, and you're pretty much done for life. You might be able to (so I heard) create an LLC/Corporation and register under that with no ties to you, your address, your credit cards or bank at all. The hoops you have to jump through to do that depends on how much using Google's services really benefited you.

Hi, there is a ppc network, which you want to try with your website.
You can create ppc banners with it as well.
Good tutorial is prepared by one of our affiliates here: blog.ultramoneyformula.com

@Vallina You just need to sign up with OpenX or Google Ad Manager. From there you add their JavaScript tags to your site and add the ad codes from any ad networks you use through their system. Doing it this way would mean you have the same information available to you that would have been available to Google to claim you had fraudulent clicks and can hopefully track down the culprit.
