I am planning on creating a site that will have a lot of videos on the site to watch. The content will all be free to watch and I didn't plan on having in-video ads(although it is a possibility), but I was wondering what ad network(s) I should start out with on the site? Probably thinking I will benefit a lot more from CPM than PPC, but I just want to weed out the crappy ones and find out which networks will actually pay and will pay a decent eCPM, or what would work best on a video streaming site.
Just checked out their website, I never new such an ad network existed that automatically detects flash video players and ads in advertisements accordingly. Very interesting, I may have to give them a try.
I use captain ads, got a payment from them the other day. We get about 0.7 dollars per 1000 views. Works out at about $5-6 a day for 8,000 video views. Sometimes get nice ads like PKR poker displaying. Pays nicely towards our hosting costs per month then all the other advertisement mediums are pure profit.
$5 a day isn't too bad, it would equate out to a little over $150 after a month which can easily cover hosting costs and such. I can't wait to set up my new site and situate the ads through CaptainAds, I think it has a lot to offer.
