    I can't believe that there are people saying that Steven Seagal is the best actor on the planet. He's probably the worst actor in recorded history.

    I've also seen a lot of votes for Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. Although these guys are accomplished actors, they wouldn't even make my Top 50.

    In my opinion, and in no particular order, the best actors on the planet are:

    Sir Ian McKellen
    Dame Judy Dench
    Gary Oldman
    Al Pacino
    Tom Hanks
    Johnny Depp
    Sean Penn
    Dustin Hoffman
    Peter O'Toole
    Cate Blanchett
    Dame Maggy Smith
    Dame Helen Mirren
    Jodi Foster

    I also think Giovanni Ribisi is very underrated. The man's brilliant.
