    Google + is more official & more standard than Facebook .... But gain popularity is easy in facebook ... Now a days Majority people use google+ for their official purpose and sharing their personal feelings ....

    I would consider using Google+ for professional relations, or for a company. However with more people and companies using Facebook, it makes it hard to use Google+ when you cant socialize with anyone.

    Best way to find out which one has more potential use for you is post links to each more than a few times, and measure which portal brings you more traffic or quality traffic. I suspect every niche will be a little different. Eg; +1 has a LOT of photographers on it...and tech people. Facebook is a grab bag from my experience. Both send traffic, I post and check... I would not dog or favor one over the other, they're both big...post in both spots, get more hits for t3h w1ns.

    I use Google+ and Facebook when building backlink for my websites in my Social Data Strategy. I realize both help me get more traffic but not much useful in gather data.

    Both are the Social networking websites, but main difference between facebook and Google plus are the links which you posting on your profile, posts on wall are dofollow, rather Facebook have all no follow links, So this is the main benefit of Google plus as a SEO point of view. Why you are shift to G+ to Facebook? Use both of it, both are the very good website for sharing your webpages, ideas, products etc. Also Facebook has lots of user and give the better traffic to your website and well marketing to your products
