Hi DP Members Can anybody explain me What is the difference between Web 2.0 & 3.0 ? How can we benefit from them ? Is there any site where we can get the details of Web 3.0 ?
No one has coined the term Web 3.0 seriously. For my part, this is very much guessing... There are studies pointing that user generated content, which to a high degree characterizes web 2.0 is becoming partially shallow. This chain of thought has led to people thinking about Web 3.0 as dynamic MODERATED content... We are ages away from 3.0 ... and even further away from having an exact understanding of what this will be. Pervasive computing will most probably be are very significant part of it - along side a moderated Web 2.0 evolution. People are happy to rant about 3.0 aso ... I'd give it a rest: Content instead of form, please.
Web 2.0..., Web 3.0.... It's all just marketing hype brought out by the suits. It's really vaguely defined... It doesn't really mean anything....
