even though no follow gives you know link juice, still use your keywords in your anchor text to establish what your site is all about.

This topic is definitely covered here probably many times over in the past month..

It's traffic only. Even though you may see links with rel="nofollow" in the Google index, it doesn't mean they are sending any PageRank through that link. No one (to my knowledge) has proven that nofollow links pass PR so the only benefit would be human click thru's.

I was recently reading an article on SEOMoz about link building. The nofollow came up in the post:

An interesting read... you may find the article helpful. http://www.seomoz.org/blog/link-building-101-the-almost-complete-link-guide

    There are several benefits actually:

    1. NoFollow backlinks get your site indexed.
    2. NoFollow backlinks bring some traffic.
    3. NoFollow backlinks diversify your link profile.
    4. NoFollow backlinks actually help you in SERP.

at first, all forums and blogs are not "no follow". But even no follow links have value in yahoo search engine. Google ignores

Acutally #4 is totally wrong. Google implemented no follow to give webmasters a tool to prevent link spam. There is ZERO value in serp from no follow link. Zero.

#4 is actually correct. "SERP" does not directly mean Google's search results. Yahoo! and Bing still ignore nofollow tags for the time being which makes those links valuable to those search engines. And nofollow links pass significantly decreased link juice, but it's still being passed (Matt Cutts verified this).

The main advantage is that they make look your backlink profile looking more natural. Imagine a backlink profile that consists only of dofollow links with perfect anchor text and from relevant sites in your niche. Google is not stupid, and I am sure they will treat such a link profile with caution. Also don't forget to link to authority sites in your niche, Google 'sees' that also as part of a normal pattern, SY

NoFollow links will help your site/subpage/post get indexed. But is it true that Yahoo follows NoFollows?..

other than get targeted traffic if you make comment on blog with same niche, it can also indirectly give you natural backlink if the visitor like your website/blog
