    Hello All,

I have a concern that are the back links to my sites is beneficial only when someone click on them and visit my site or they are still beneficial if someone not click on them.
In second case does my search engine ranking improve or not.

Please clear my doubt. Thanks in advance.

Backlinks also benefits you by way of getting direct traffic and page rank to your website; it gives your website wider search engine coverage. It also ensure a good ranking for your targeted keywords in the SERPs.

Thanks for your reply, But my concern is that is it necessary that back links should be clicked for benefit or they are beneficial without click on them.

It is not exactly known, but I tend to believe more and more, that clicked links add to their "power". Google can't track all the clicks, but it can track part of them ,using
    -Ganalytics on the target site
    -G toolbar
    -adsense code(?)
-Maybe chrome has some kind of history, shared with google?

Anyways,I think one can safely say, that Google gives "clicks" more some importance (they always show "ctr" when they can). That doesn't mean, that link's power diminishes without clicks, but thats just nice extra.

You don't build back links for traffic and PR is just a waste of time. You build back links to optimise your sites positon or ranking in Googles search results. So no, it does not matter if no one clicks your link. However you do need a sensible page title with anchor text that points to key words in the title tag. And deep links which point to internal pages are a scarce and valuable resource.

Backlinks are beneficial even if someone is not clicking them. These count as vote to increase your SERP in major search engines like Google,Bing,Yahoo etc

Quality back links help you to increase google search engine ranks, if u make back links on sites related to your site's topic, you will get traffic too as an extra advantage.

the link is the link. I think it's not count if you click it or not.
related links is the most important!

it is important that the backlinks are dofollow, if nobody klicks on them. Otherwise they have no use.
