In order to post links in Yahoo answers, you should be a level 2 user. These links are NoFollow, so the link juice does not get transfer to your site. Nonetheless, we think Google still likes these links.

Yahoo answer will help to get more traffic and promote site. But in this case some precaution should take like avoid spamming, promoting site with appropriate links etc.
