Being more productive - the 25:5 rule

    I just suddenly remembered a friend telling me of this practice that someone talked about...I cant remember who!

    Work for 25mins stop for 5mins. Do nothing work/project-related for 5mins.

    No matter what you are doing you have to stop. You set a timer.

    Apparently it helps train the brain and make you more constructive/productive. Its very hard to stop. Esp if youre in the middle of something.

    I was gonna try it today, but I didnt. I probably should, though at the time it always feels like Im gonna waste 5mins (Im a bit of a work work work addict...though sometimes I do question my productivity!).

    I feel like taking breaks is in fact the antithesis of productivity.

    Yes, I heard that from an Internet Marketer. It will make your brain more productive and let you squeeze out more ideas ...

    The key here is to have a Timer and discipline yourself to follow that plan otherwise your productivity will plummet ...
