Hi all, i have just changed my domain with my hosting provider, all i have done is change from one domain to another, and they want to charge me $9.95 but they have never charged me before. Is this normal??? Kieran
it depends opn what you mean by you have "changed a domain" if you have two domains already and you want to change the hosting they provide to server a new domain instead of an original then no i dont think they should normally charge you if you want to get a different domain and you expect them to register it for you then possibly yes. need more info to explain properly
no i have got both domain registered with go daddy. i have just sold my old website along with the domain (which was the main account domain) therefore i emailed the hosting providers and to them i wanted to change the main account domain to another one i have got, all i did with the other domain was change the nameservers at godaddy to the one for the hosting. all the hosting providers have to do is change the main domain of the account to the new one. and they want to charge me $9.95 for it!!
