Is anyone a full-time, self employed webmaster, with your website/ website marketing being your primary source of income? I have just started working on a website of mine as more of a hobby for my downtime inbetween college courses. I am interested in learning how others got their start and made the transition to being a self employed and self sustaining webmaster. Though I have no plans to do this as a career, I want to hear every one else's story. How did you get your start? What marketing techniques helped you get to where you are now? Do you plan on expanding what you have now?
SEO, black hat, facebook, forum, twitter, etc. Just all the stuffs that I can think of. I'm self-employed and I make money by doing what I love.
I'm self employed. The transistion was very simply.. it was a hobby, closed down travelled the world, came back and refused to work for anyone but myself and moved to a realllly cheap country so I wouldn't have to make much money to survive. Tax returns come in handy from previous employment as well..
Well, you will learn each and everything yourself as time passes. Experience helps a lot in Online business. Just concentrate on what you are doing. - Digital -
