So, these guys are randomly killing people just so that the police could go away. Wouldn't that just increase the number of killings because there will be anarchy?

Why is religion almost always involved in the world's problems and islam features more often than most?

If it's not muslims involved in terrorism or major acts of violence, its political correctness battles because everything and anything these days seems to offend this religion yet they get to do pretty much as they please.

I know not everyone is an extremist but I thought Islam was supposed to be a peaceful and considerate religion in general?

I have no problems with any religion. If you feel the need to believe in a greater being of which you have no proof of existence (let's face it if you could prove it...there would be one religion and we'd all believe), you are more than welcome. What I have a problem with is people going around beheading others and thinking its ok.

How long is it going to be before we live our lives based on what we know and feel and not based on what some storybook (torah,bible,koran..etc) tells us we should do.

Is it just me or is the world going mad over religion?

That is actually a confusion caused by mistranslation. Islam is the religion of submission, not the religion of peace.
