I know that in google when you put keywords in quotes and when you put keywords in square brackets, it does certain things. I also know that in google to get something ranked you need to feed that keyword targeting article for example with backlinks for it to rise in position. Do other sites like youtube, ezine and all other web 2.0 properties have similar behavior that of google in terms of searching with quotes or without or having the keyword in square brackets or etc.? If there is something you want to rank in some of these web 2.0 sites, will whatever you are trying to rank increase in ranking in the corresponding web 2.0 site when fed with backlinks just like how it works in google? For example, there is a keyword that is a bit competitive when I search in quotes in google and not that competitive when I search for it in youtube. If I pumped that video with backlinks, will it rise in ranking in youtube?
i think i'm write... if u pump whatever you are trying to rank in the coresponding web 2.0 site, it will rise in ranking in that site.
