I believe I'm going to start working with PPC, and use it to generate traffic to landing pages for some affiliate.

I can't invest a lot to start off with, possibly $5 dollars a day. I know that's not a lot, but I can't help it. It would be possible to save like $50 up and spend like $25 two days or something, but I'm not sure.

I know I can successfully research keywords to use, so that's not a problem.

I'm just wondering if there is any advice to be shared to a beginner, and what are some good affiliate programs for beginners.

    Thanks! :)

$5 to start if you're new is perfectly fine. Eventually when you start seeing profit and have refined your campaigns (got rid of keywords that aren't converting, split tested your landing pages, etc), you can scale up.

There's going to be a lot of trial and error. PPC is really a trial by fire. What works for some people won't work for everyone. My best advice is to just get in there and do it. Hands on experience is the best education when it comes to PPC marketing. You'll learn alot just by trying it out.

When I first started doing PPC, I didn't make a whole lot of money but after a couple years of learning and experimenting, I do quite well with it now. Another piece of advice I have is to make sure your Ad copy is top notch. Make really intriguing headlines that make people want to click. Don't use boring text.

Your landing pages should tell people WHY they need the product, not simply WHAT it is. You are responsible for closing the sale, so make sure you presell, presell, presell! :)

    Good luck!

    Hi Max,

At PinkSheep we have found that the most cost effective way to use Pay Per Click advertising is to have well targetted advert copy, finding the right rank for your advert, but most important of all is the structure of your account.

A lot of people fall into the trap of thinking that just setting a budget and entering in hundreds of keywords will instantly bring about revenue but unfortunately this is usually the recipe for disaster.

There are many tricks to the trade.
