Sorry, maybe I'm too stupid, bur I always see just the word "Code" in the field under ad_network.php file: in the setup instructions. That surely has no result on my pages, because it's just a word an no php code. What am I doing wrong or what should be in the ad_network.php file ? Thanks in advance. Best regards Vision
Hi, I'm using IE 6.0., with Javascript enabled I think. Never had problems with Javascripts. The other boxes are filled in. Only the first one (ad_network.php file) shows just the word 'Code'. I meanwhile found the PHP Code in other entries of this forum, added it in my 'ad_network.php' file and it worked. Even the validation of my site worked afterwards. That's OK, but in spite of that I didn't understand the behaviour of your. Setup Instruction site. By the way, what does the the amount of Base Referrals mean ? Is there any statistical tool which shows how often, or on how may sites the ads are shown ? The idea of this network is great I believe, and I hope that a lot of people will join it. Best regards, vision
Not sure what's up with the JavaScript portion of the setup for you, but I haven't heard of any other problems. I guess as long as you got it working, then that's all that matters. As far as stats, currently the system do not log/track impressions, so there is not a way to generate stats based on that.
Yes, you are right, all that matters is that it worked. Thanks for the answer with the stats, but what does the the amount of Base Referrals mean ? Best regards, vision
I mean : ---------------------------------------- Referrals How to receive weight ---------------------------------------- bonuses XXX Base + 0 Bonus = XXX Total Weight ---------------------------------------- is displayed on ...digitalpoint.com/tools/ad-network/ in a blue box. I would just like to know, what the number instead of XXX means and how you count this. Does it mean that my Ad's are displayed XXX times or on XXX sites but in what time ? That's what I mean. Best regards, vision
The weight assigned per site not a 1:1 ratio of pages, sites, etc. It's a relative weight it uses for internal calculation.
