Beginner trying to buy a domain, how to do a safe transfer?

    Hi DP,

    I just found a domain I liked and is in negotiations with the owner. How can I ensure a safe transfer? That is, what system exists to make sure that I actually get the domain after I pay him? Thanks.

    if the seller has a good reputation, then pay them. if there is no rating system, then use escrow.com or moniker escrow.
