Beginner requesting advice

I've just got my first ever website up www.sharemywealth.com. I am a complete beginner and would like advice on the value of registering my domain name with a directory service ie which ones, how many directories should I register with (250-500?) etc.

It's just basic genuine info that I'm after as I am a complete beginner.

    Thanks Steve Hall

depends on what wealth you have to work with, i don't think it is how many you have to register with but 1st and foremost ensuring your website is search engine optimised and then getting links to it.

Start with the obvious big ones such as alive and aviva and check out our footer links for over 300 links from 108 websites - can do you a 40% discount on the 108 package for limited period only by PM.

If you want to pay somebody to submit your site to multiple directories this forum is where to look. You could get 500 - 1000 submissions for under $40. If you want to peruse some quality paid directories, here's a good list,

You should go with as many directories as possible.
I would try to get my sites listed on pages that carry the highest PR first.

I wouldn't start with 1000 and then forget about it. I think the secret is doing it constantly .. that looks to google like "naturally" growing.
