Well , i had recently made a site http://islam-faq.blogspot.com , now i want to bring it to first google page. As i am just new to this so can someone please advise be a site from where i can learn step by step ( start from nothing to advance) only video tutorial about seo. i had found a good video at http://www.gsinc.co.uk/video/seo-vdeo1.html but this site does not contian much information of us to learn. So please guide me a site throug which i can learn with vidoes about SEO. Thanks
1. Content is the king. so build up good contents. 2. on-page optimization [build up ur contents with ur targeted keyword] 3. off-page optimization [build up backlinks from others site that is similar to ur site. thats mean, if u have a music site then u have to build up backlinks with music site.]
Make interesting articles on your blog, and make each blog post have relevant keywords that relates to that blog post. Search Google for web directories you can submit your blog to; and when submitting your site to directories make sure it has a good title that will pick up good in targeted keywords in Google searches. For example if I wanted to make a blog about computer monitors, I'd have my title as: Recommended LCD Monitors, CRT Monitors and Reviews - just as an example. It's good to also have the title in your blog something similar that will be noticable with keywords that relate to your site in a Google search. When I refer to search keywords I mean search terms, such as if you search for LCD Monitor Reviews in Google, if your site is near the top of search results (and your site is about monitors) here's what would be bold in the search result to your blog (what search terms have matched): Recommended LCD Monitors, CRT Monitors and Reviews Submitting your site to web directories help get backlinks and Google determines your site's importance (and therefore listing in Google search results) based on your site's importance.
SEO is all about keywords. That's where it starts and everything else builds on that. I suggest you go to http://www.noblesamurai.com/blog/keyword-research/ and watch all their free videos on this. Dig deeper and read everything they have on that site...it's all good info. Dunno anyone that has videos about building backlinks, article marketing or such.
Just something quick; it's hard to get a Blogger blog up high in search engines anyway, since they're so big and, well, they're not really unique, so to speak. Without your site being independent, you're going to have to really work harder than normal. So, don't beat yourself up if you find the going tough.

yah i think you should first learn Keyword Research... honestly, i even don't know this keyword research but many seo experts have advice me to study it... up to now i can't get what it is?
