Before you sell on Amazon you must get

a UPC for your product. I did do a search here and didn't turn up what I was looking for.

I already went to the uc.council.org website and read the whole thing. It seems fairly straight forward, but before I file for one I thought I would ask if there are any pitfalls, cautions, etc. soemone should know about before moving ahead.

Thanks for any information you want to share from your own personal experience, and pardon the question if it's just a result of being overly cautious.

    Regards, Simon.

Not sure how you mean that but, yes, I sell a product that . . . belongs to me. I market it worldwide and have a website. I am at the point where my fulfillment capacity will accomodate large numbers of orders and I would like to have it available through amazon and several other product-specific sites, most of which require a bar code.

Oh ok.....well that is awesome! Checking with Amazon directly would probably be the best option. I thought you meant something about adding products to your website which you can do through the amazon affiliate program. But that is for products already on Amazon.

    Good luck with your product!!!
