    Hello Friends,

I've found many people here may buy domains and easily can be scammed and become victims of scammers and hence,i've found it is of my duty to give them some advices.

How to make sure that domains belongs to seller or not ?

DON'T ASK HIM FOR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING :-

    - Never ask for screen shot cause they can gives you fake one easily to be created with photoshop or acdsee powerpack.

    - Never ask him to upload a file or write in the index anything cause he meight be hacked the hosting only not the domain cp .

ASK HIM FOR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING :-

    - Ask him to create an email @ the domain name and send him a MSG
and ask him telling you the MSG what was .

    OR FOR MORE COMPLEX TEST

    - Ask him to point ( change ) the domain DNS to your own hosting DNS and addthe domain at your hosting cp then wait for just 1 hour and let see if the
if propagated or not if yes then it is ok.

Indeed that advices for big prices domains or if you don't trust the buyer
I've created that thread WHY ?

    - i've bought some domains and i was shocked to find some people who asked for screen shot or upload file or even didn't asked for anything just paying paying paying .. so i found i should give that advices that meight helps to prevent got your money lost Buying air .

    - i've seen someone in an forum else who go to sedo and pick up a domain then he open thread saying he sell that domain cause sedo bids isn't good blah blah blah ... selling air

thanks , if someone have notes, please kindly added it in your reply.

Who is service can telling you dns,creationg/exp data ..ect
but not must all domains who is information is that same as the buyer , for example i'm always using who is protection services 0.50c/y so it hide my informations (name,mail,phone....ect ) so not always who is info must be for the buyer.

You don't have to worry so much, Not indeed all buyer are scammer
I'm just telling that advices for people who buy high prices domains like

For example, i've bought many many domains lower in prices than $20 per each so indeed i won't do that just paid and got it.

    But

for domains which has a huge real hurt prices , must take care indeed.

Thanks for your post. Would be great if we could make a guide for sellers as well though.

I agree that the buyer would be at risk in most cases, but if you have been doing this for a while I am sure you have had a scammer file a dispute against you on paypal or something along these lines. Is there really a way to be sure that you won't get scammed? I don't know. The tips you describe would be enough to catch you average newbie scammer, but unfortunately they have become much sneakier than that nowadays.

I guess the iTrader, post count, and date of registration are some good ways to tell - then again we've seen accounts getting hacked as well... I really don't know if you can ever be sure. Escrow helps - but you are not going to use escrow for anything under $100.... right?

Any more advice would be appreciated.

P.S. Is this the right section for this thread? :p

it is a very good advice and regarding itrader there is also the possiblity that the account was sold with good itrader to a scammer. If you intend to check itrader you should check if there was no pause in the activity of the profile.
    :)

Thanks for your advice what about the traffic stats, is there any test to find out the traffic details because i also have doubt that the traffic can be cheated by using bots.
