Aye. You're right lad. Before i die, i would really love ta' see my son grow up a to be a nice man, and make me proud. And i would really love to stick to my wife until the end, whatever or whenever that may be. As for the rest, they will come and go. No point in wishing them.

I hate this "doesn't look good" scenarios. Just for the record, i made peace with my father about 2 weeks ago. I haven't spoke to him since 9 years ago (before those two weeks). He was a drunken foul, beat my mother, sold our house, and in my whole life, he bought me a damn chocolate. And that was because he went visiting a guy (one of his coleagues) and the guy's kid wasn't home. So i know tough. The thing is ... I want to have a parent to look after, when he's old and helpless. It makes me feel like i'm worth something, and in a way, i'm returning a little bit (or a whole lot more) from what they offered me.
