Does anyone know of a good beer and wine affiliate program? Yes, I know it is easy to search but so many are broken as the companies seem to have given up on their affiliates. Are there any out there that actually work?
I meet the manager for wine.com affiliate program. since there is restrictions to what states they can sell too. i'd say its best to try geo targeted optimization and partnerships. I know a blogger that has a wine site and he gets hooked up with cases of wine and great advertisers since they can't buy ppc ads, etc. good luck! -brian
Check out Hydra Network, they have a few wine offers paying as high as $80 cpa. PM me if you need more info.
We have 2 wine offers that are converting really well for the holidays. http://www.copeac.com/offersheet/offersheet.asp?ID=62214911226 Shoot me a pm to discuss payouts.
There are restrictions on wine selling but 80% of US population lives in 20 states. So by running 2-3 wine programs that ship to most of the states you're not really losing much income. Another option is to create a small database of states for each affiliate merchant and when someone clicks on a link, take them to your page and ask them where they are, then present them with relevant merchants.
That's good info, thanks for sharing. So, are you saying it would be wiser to target the 20 states with 80% of the population, or would it better to geo-target all the states where online purchase of wine is legal? How many states are outlawed? I haven't promoted wine offers yet, but the CPA looks appealing.
Acclaims idea is a great way to maximize your ROI. You could even build a basic US map and ask people to click their state and take them to an offer that ships to their state, those states where no one ships.. send them to a content site with adsense to monetize the traffic.
