I have been an affiliate marketer for over 3 years but got serious about 10months ago when i acquired my first website. I have optimized it and have been building back link using article marketing, blogging, forums and yahoo answer. Yet i havent made more than $50. My product are great. How do i do an effective marketing. I always optimize my articles and choose the right keywords too. All i need is $200 every month how can i achieve that.
Man, if you're that stuck check my sig However the key is get loads of TARGETED TRAFFIC TO YOUR OFFER. This can be ppc or article marketing (or even forum/yahoo answers) But if you feel like you need to know the intrinsic details of article and ppc marketing then Wealthy Affiliate is a must.
Are you using article marketing to build backlinks? If you are not then you must learn bum marketing techniques to help get your articles on the front page of Google. If you are using article marketing to build backlinks, then you need to invest in an article submitter that generates massive backlinks by submitting unique articles to hundreds of directories....This will help your site rise in the search engines for your keywords...I use word pot for keyword research
i think you should try writing articles that have targeted keywords to your site.research well on the keywords that people are searching for and gear your articles towards that.
I guess that free money making site in your sig doesn't work? It sounds like you are on the right track with building back links etc. So that leaves just one possibility why you aren't making anything..your site. It doesn't matter if you have all the right key words, back links etc if your site is not what the people are looking for. Have you been tracking to see where/when the people leave? How much traffic are you getting? Is it all natural from articles etc or are you doing ppc? Another possibility is maybe the product you are selling isn't any good. Don't give up. Start tracking, mak small changes, maybe set up a separate landing page to test with. Once it starts making sales consider making that your home page. Good luck!!
I agree with zeekstern that tracking is important. Everything affects what makes people stay on your site from the color to the copy. If you can make a change (like changing the color and wording of the headline), then, do that to see if that creates any more interest. Then, give away something of value for free! Make some part of your business personal, so if you have a blog treat it like the hub where you invite people to hang out.
I don't mean to burst your bubble but if every website was a big money maker, we wouldn't be sitting here sharing ideas. Sometimes, you just have to know when to quit. I don't know what your product is or anything, so maybe you would know if there is a market out there for it. But how are you competing? Is your market too big? Is your market too small? Take a look at the most wealthy affiliate marketers. Ask them if any of their websites have ever failed? They will quickly say yes, I guarantee it. If you aren't making any money with what you're doing and you've been doing it hard for 10 months, it sounds like it may be time to move on where you can invest that time into something else that might turn into something profitable.
You might come off as not the best salesman when you can't properly use grammar. I'm sorry, but it's the sad truth in the business world. Yugo,
