If it were per thread you would have the potential to bump multiple times every day. I will let you figure the rest out

 

Yes, but you would only have the ability to bump each thread once per 7 days. I think the request for clarification was a valid.

I take it by your tone, however, that it is total, rather than per thread. Can you point me to the sticky post that outlines the rule?

If you go ahead and bump a thread it tells you everything you need to know. Yes its total.
