with the search term "satellite Internet", this "elitesat" site has been ranked about #7 for months, and no less then 12 for 1-2 years... but google, has now pushed site back to #36...

Can anyone help me understand why?

    Thanks for any insight!

You may have been sandboxed for building too many backlinks at once.

Sorry, I don't think you know what sandbox is. If you were sandboxed, your site would be completely gone from Google. Let me ask you, how often do you update your website? It's possible the competition went up for the market and someone has been doing more link building than you. It also drops sometimes because your site content gets too old and hasn't been updated in a very long time -- so just a single update will actually help boost your SERP's.

Could be lack of unique content, Or not enough quality links, link diversity.
