Becoming a Vendor - What do I need to prepare for?

I have two affiliate websites online ranking well in the search engines and making a bit of money.
Some weeks ago I got a very good offer through which I now possess a sales license for a good ebook that seems to not have been promoted yet in the market that I will go to.

I have done market research and keyword research, registered a domain and will start to build the website soon to start building my list.

Now I'm wondering about how much work I have to expect from becoming a vendor. As an affiliate my work was pretty easy. Put a link on the page, make them click the link, the vendor takes care of the rest.

I will sell the product through clickbank and what I have to do to get the product approved is well documented on their site I think.

But will I need a support person for example? I'm thinking about maybe putting the limit at 100 or 200 sales at the beginning. The content should be rather clear, so that I don't expect having to deal with a lot of mails on that one. Is there anything but refund requests that I'd have to handle? (Those could be handled with a standard mail, showing them how to request a refund through clickbank)

I really don't know what might be coming to me because I never was a vendor before.

I hope you can bring a bit of clarity to me.
I'd be willing to make a list in this post, accumulating everything that a vendor needs to think of before launching his product, so other people have an easy reference when searching for the same information.

    Thanks a lot in advance

    Sebastian
