I'm putting together a ebook about living longer as seen at SecretsofLivingLonger.com [posting live links to the forum is't available to me yet] Based on your instincts as affiliates/publishers, does this look like it has a shot at decent conversion? What changes could you suggest? PM and I'll let you know when I launch this in the coming week!
http://www.secretsoflivinglonger.com/ i like the design and colors. Pretty compact site. Nice. Although right at the start i would use more eyecatching wording and come right to the point WHY and WHAT your method offers, why it is better than others etc.... not blahblah like "ecrets of Living Longer takes an in depth look at the secrets of longevity, off" ...something catchier. Keep in mind that your goal should be to convince a visitor of your site to buy in THREE SECONDS. We live in a fast paced society...so people want to be convinced ("lured" quickly. Also..the white writing in the header looks off here in firefox..something wring with the font. Also..ok..i was actually reading a bit on the site now...you have to come more to the point and not imply a compilation or a long book about "experience of many people"..which sounds you're selling a novel. I mean, in fact the information in your book might be good, no question. But be more precise and shorter what you offer, what method, why it is good and point out eg..."everyone can do this"..."it doesnt take time"..."it doesnt cost anything"...etc..etc... i mean short, precise statements WITHOUT making it sound like a spammy sales-page. If you read your own book i am sure you can find some "headlines" and advantages which you can implement in your sales-letter. Attract potential buyers QUICK. Point out that you might havel methods that even in our society people can achieve long life without needing to live in Kirkukistan or in a tibetan monestary ...point out that its easy to get products anywhere (in case it focus on healthy nutrition)....etc..etc...point out how the average person can achieve this with ease....you get the idea.
