Becoming a Google Geek

Hi,

I want to further my Career and get properly trained in SEO and Google

Can anyone suggest things?

I have started a blog and read other peoples blog I have also read a few SEO Books

 

Build back links, comment on forums, do social bookmarking, write articles, ask other site owners to promote your site, comment on do follow blogs... There are a lot of things you need to do, but take your time, you will learn by time...

 

I have learnt quite alot I know about content, articles, links, been relevant etc

 

spend alot of time on this forum and other webmaster forums. you will learn alot .

 

Everyone has an opion about SEO. My advice is to learn from people who consistently get good rankings.

 

Look for some SEO certifications and pass them or get certificates.

Ask questions if you dont understand anything.

 

You need to be a great follower of the SEO Blogs and Forums first.
You can also check for courses offered by your local institutes. A good webmaster should know how to code and solve the small issues with the scripts himself.

 

it's true you can easily learn what other people's study and knowledge in SEO.

 

there are many books on amazon about SEO, read one or two and practice what you've learn.

and of course, participate in SEO related forums

 

First go through the Google SEO guide. Thats the best start.

Read the blogs at seobook.com and seomoz.org and if you have the budget, consider becoming a paid member of these sites (you'll pick up a lot in just a couple of months if you dedicate the time so you won't have to keep paying for membership forever).

Challenge what you read about SEO by doing your own experiments - there's lots of misinformation out there because it's easy to jump to the wrong conclusions about what works and what doesn't. Create a blog or two just to experiment on - it can be surprising to find out that something works really well when most people are saying the exact opposite.

I know thee things that will always until the webs changes be there and be very important to SEO
