IYO would this be the right category then? http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Visual_Arts/Illustration_and_Drawing/
I wrote a whole post in my blog about this and some dmoz guy came to argue. We all know that the only way to get anywhere in dmoz is to show the green
Probably! But I am neither a Shopping or an Arts expert. As a matter of fact I am not even kindergarten level in these two categories. Don't forget though that only one of your sites would be accepted. I understand that you probably see them as different products. But according to the guidelines, they are all related. They are all art by Roger Hall. And that makes them related. Shopping is one of the hard branches to be accepted as an editor. I am not trying to discourage you, but you definitely need to study the category descriptions from the top down in that branch and also the FAQ here: http://www.dmoz.org/Shopping/ P.S. You have to lose the marketer in you and find your editor hat if you want to make it as an editor in DMOZ. Added: Forget the congrats! I edited for almost two years before I got wise and resigned. I am only supplying this info to you because you didn't seem to understand why you were rejected.
Again, thanks for the info DB. I'm not going to try again to be an editor, but rather see what happens if I simply submit the URL http://inkart.net/ to that category. If accepted, that's great. If not...well...I tried.
That's just it, Roger! Although I am sure there are corrupt editors, I can assure you that most are not. Bribing an editor will have a much greater chance of getting you banned that getting you listed.
Then if that is not the correct category, a shopping editor will simply move it to the category that best fits the site. My guess is that you are probably right, though. Shopping can be a long wait but I suspect that since the crash of the directory the wait is not as long now as before. And you are welcome.
