I have a new idea for a website that I think would be very popular and quite possibly go big. It is a unique idea that I have not seen before. All I can say here is that it will involves videos and will be a web 2.0 environment. It will make money from advertising and charging clients. We will most likely outsource the programming of the site unless a programmer or designed show up in the 3 people.

I do not have the time to develop this myself and would like to form a team. I don't have any local friends that like the internet, so here goes.

I do not want one person, I want 3 more people not including myself for a total of 4. The reason for the 3 additional people and not one, is that I feel I could trust a collective group of people more than one person to do a good job and not run away with the idea.

I suggest we have a conference chat on yahoo where the selected 3 will be revealed the idea.

I will only consider US based users. You will fax the nondisclosure agreement to me with your signature before your invitation to the chat.

If you are interested send me a pm with what your skills are, ie designing, seo, programming, marketing. I would also like to know what sites you have started and any other business experiences.

Do not ask me to tell you the idea in a pm, if you want to join the group follow the instructions above.

If 3 people do not show up to the chat at the scheduled time, the chat will be cancelled and the missing people will be found.

You can ask any questions you may have here, but I will not give details about the business idea.

I'm guessing you want your chosen 3 to help fund your idea too? Don't expect receive any quality help unless your the one footing the bill. Every webmaster here probably has more business ideas then they have the time to develop.

So the question is, what are you bringing to the table? Because the experienced developers here really don't care about your idea. We've got plenty of our own to work on. You've already admitted you don't have the skills to build the site. So that just leaves funding the project or having some really impressive marketing skills.

no need for the cynism. No, I am not doing this for funding. I have plenty of money to fund this myself. I am looking for motivated individuals who believe in my idea and want to work together. The investment is not much, basically the cost of making the site I'm guessing around 700-1000. And I expect us to split the bill not because I cannot afford it but I want the 3 people to have a vested interest in the venture, ie be the owners, not just some help and random people with a passing interest. I am more busy than most webmasters owning another business and being a full time medical student.

What I bring to the table? I own a successfull online and real world business, have owned a couple of sites. I am experienced in SEO, marketing, and business ownership. I also have the funds to contribute to my idea, but again do not want to go at it alone as time does not allow. The people I am looking for don't have to be "very experienced" they must simply have good knowledge of the net, but most importantly believe in the success of my idea. When revealed the idea, if any of 3 don't think it would work, I don't want to work with them.

I want people who believe in my plan and want to give it a go. The initial investment in time and capital would be minimal especially since we will have four people.
