Because he's a crap player. No one wants him at his overvaluated, inflated price.

If you buy Becks you get:
    1. Massive media distraction
    2. Hole in your finances
    3. Non-committed, lazy one-trick pony who is more concerned about his hair than about challenging for the next ball.
    4. No resale value considering he's at the end of his career

Only bonus is he has no country commitments so you won't miss him during internationals.

How can you say that he has no country commitments?

Because he's not included in the England squad... So he doesn't get called up for internationals so he doesn't face the fatigue, stress, injuries etc. accosiated with playing for your country.

David Beckham is a Prima Donna with no interest in anything other than being a huge celebrity... Sure, his football will be appreciated in the USA, but remember the interview with Michael Parkinson some 5+ years ago (when he was an all-round good player) when he stated his goal in life being something like "I want to be a bigger star than I am today"? Not a better footballer, not a good *cough* Man U or England player but a bigger star...

Now if that doesn't whiff of ego-mania and money-grabbing then I don't know what does. Doesn't he already have enough in life without wanting more?

He and his bint should be less selfish, remember their roots and share the wealth rather than building their own little dynasty of idiots... I mean, cummon, who's gonna take Brooklyn & Romeo seriously when they're older? Brooklyn was probably really conceived in Peckham and Romeo is just a daft name anyway :p

    Just sayin' ;) :)

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real_Madrid ;)

Are still a very respected team, but they haven't achieved the levels of success they had at the club when the likes of Di Stefano and Puskas were there.

If you go to south or central america and ask people about their favorite team, Real is on top of the list everywhere. :)

I probably attribute that to the large Spanish speaking population in that part. :)
BTW, there are many Reals in the footballing world. I assumed that you were talking about RM since it was this thread.

    Other Reals:

    Real Zaragoza
    Real Sociedad
    Real Betis
    Real Valladolid
    Real Murcia

There is Real Bamako too, but they aren't based in Spain.

Yeah, was talking about Real Madrid, Latin America is crazy about them, more so than about their local teams.

Yes! Big time! They like whatever team is closest to their home, but when you ask them about their all time favorite, about 70 percent of them say Real Madrid. A couple will say Manchester united or Liverpool, Ajax Amsterdam etc, but generally it´s RM. :)

His publicity is growing as a celebrity.
But how ever he is a great player with the lot of commitments to his country and the clubs. But he doesn't got enough chances or respects from them.
