What is it: It's a useful bodybuilding blog that already has over 30
unique posts that were handwritten by its former owner. These articles are
exclusive to the website, and you will have 100% ownership rights of these
articles if you win this auction. The articles range from basic bodybuilding
tips to pre-made workout routines that I have made.

How does it make money: Unlike most of those "cookie-cutter" websites, this
website has actually made over $75.00 on Google Adsense in the past, when
it was frequently updated (Note: I have no revenue proof from the former
owner). You will be able to use custom adsense design, which has a very
effective click-through rate of around 10%. As you know, most websites get around
2-3% CTR.

Why am I selling it? The fact is the website has not reached its full potential
because it hasn't been updated properly in the last few months, as you can
see. In it's heyday, it had PR4, and made around $5-10 a month. Right now,
it makes a $2-3 a month because I haven't done much promotion.

It would probably make more if the ads were targeted (I don't know about
you, but I'm not seeing any bodybuilding adsense ads in there now, only
ones about MS office tools and such).

With just some website promotion such as SEO optimization, link trading, and
etc, you can easily make a steady stream of income. I would recommend
the new website owner to add more bodybuilding articles; just in case you
don't know much about weightlifting or bodybuilding. The former owner is
willing to write a quick guide for you on how to obtain free bodybuilding
material, if interested, so you can run the site even if you don't know much
about the field.

Note: Although it will help to have experience with weightlifting/bodybuilding,
it is not necessary to have bodybuilding knowledge or experience to
successfully run this website.

How much does it cost to run this website? This is maybe one of the most
low-cost websites to host and operate because the entire website is
hosted on Google's Blogger.com sevrer for absolutely free. The only cost
is renewing the domain name (which costs around $8-10 a year), however,
I have already renewed the domain name until April 2008, so you will
not have to pay anything for a while.

How much money should I expect to make with this website? I'll be honest,
it depends a lot on how much work you're willing to put into this website,
you know how blogs are

I thought it was ok as long as there is some sort of separation between the ads and the pictures? Correct me if I am wrong.

 

That's the way the former owner chose to place the ads. The new owner is welcome to seperate it with a line or contact google for approval etc. - let's stay focused though, anyone interested in bidding?

You can delete the 2006 section, and just grab the articles from there (before deleting it ) and post them as new articles, once a week, so you'll have fresh articles for the next several months, without having to do any work!
