Please share your experience about the link building speed. What is the best rate for a week?
How many links for a week for the maximum results?
    Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

it depends on the age of the site and the number of links it already has. Try and keep your linkbuilding at a constant rate to look natural.

Mad4 is correct, I'd also add it depends on the niche itself, some niche's collect backlinks natrually much faster than others. Look at the competition to see how many links they have.

To me it feels as if you are bound to end up in the sandbox anyway you do it... So I have abandoned the path of caution and instead just go to get as much links as possible, sooner or later (I hope) the filters disappear.

I wonder were this new strategy will lead :)

Acquiring too many (unnatural) links too quickly isn't good.

IMO it depends on age of sites you're placing b-links, and age of target site, too. Young sites add negative points. Volumes of fresh BL's wont hurt that much till they are obviously irrelevant -- you can publish something extraordinary (some news etc) and get loads of BL's in no time and it will be natural situation, rite?

Get as many relevant links you can and as quick as you can. Non-relevant I add around 20 a week. Obviously PR of links makes a huge difference. Hope it goes well for you!

The number of backlinks you acquire per day/week is up to you, but I'd be watching the theme of the pages that feature your backlinks, and I'd also ensure a lot of variety in the anchor text.

The one thing that appears to offset volume is variety in anchor text. The other consideration is average longevity. If you were acquiring links that are no longer there in a weeks time, and this continued for a long period, it would not appear organic.

    So:
Titles of pages on which links appear should be relevant to your site/theme
Anchor text in IBLs should vary considerably
Longevity of IBLs should be maintained (go after permanent IBLs).

    Cheers,

    JL

with my own experience, I've seen that if you have a blog, it doesn't really matter. one one of my blogs I went frm PR0 to PR5 in two month... and that was because I got a couple (around 5) of the bigger (around pr6) bloggers to link to me and some of the smaller blogs out there also.

So my final conclusion is to always have a blog running on every domain and to also have a mix of the quality of links I get, and to make sure that I get at least a few of the higher (PR5 and up) sites to link to me.

PR isn't the same as links remember. You can get to a PR5 or 6 with one good link. Though if 100,000 links appeared to it in a couple of months it would raise some flags with Google.

Go for relevant links... For a new site I would not acquire more than 10 relevant links per day from the start. Then ramp it up the following week to 15 a day & so on...

Watch out for gaining massive non relevant links... Pace it out
