Hi folks , I just come in to Bangkok . Its very beautiful in first sight . Greenery every where . People are nice and Co-operative . Share your experience . Happy Friday !
Never been there but would like to some day. Post some pictures of the best foods that you experience during your visit to the thread in the link in my signature. Would love to see them!
It's on of my favourite places to go. Take some time to get off the tourist trail and see how the country really is.
Bali is nuts. Been twice, 20 years apart, no plans to return. I find the total abandonment of principles uncomfortable. You see people "cleaning" the beach but they're just moving sand around - over visible litter because there's no pride, it's just a job. The litter everywhere is shameful. The roads aren't even vaguely safe.
Bangkok is a big city...if you like greenery go to Chiang Mai...if you like the beach go to some of the coastal towns or islands!
Very exotic. It really is that, beautiful? Sounds like some place I would love to visit. What kind of weather do you get during different times of year there?
It is warm all year round; usually 30-34 degrees. A little humid. Great food, good infrastructure, and low living cost. Loads of youtube videos...if you want to know about costs just search for video on "Thailand cost of living"
Damm good for You, wish i was there ) Never been in Thailand, but many of my friends already had this trip and came back with some great stories. Would be nice to see some pics, and by the way, - wish You to have a experience nice to remember ! Cheers!
That actually sounds quite appealing right now given the deep freeze we just came out of up here in Calgary. How's day to day life? Good internet and leisure spots?
I have more and more friends going to Thailand and settling in permanently, it is a friendly and affordable place.
I also had just recently came to Thailand from the United States. Will be living here for the next 6 months to a year while I teach English. An amazing experience for someone at only 22 years of age. So far its been 2 weeks here in Thailand and I have been grateful. The people in Thailand are very nice and lend a feeling like your accepted and that Thailand is also home to me. I have been able to see the inner city of Bangkok to the southern coast in Hua Hin. From the beautiful beaches to the glamorous Temples of the Buddhist belief. So much to see here and such fascinating history in The Kingdom of Thailand.
Wow, what a great experience you are having! I give you a lot of credit for taking such a challenge at your age. Good luck and keep us posted (probably in your own thread) as to how things go.
