I've been reading a book called Direct Action by John Weisman. Anyway, it makes me think about the ineffectiveness of some of our sections of government, like the IRS, FBI, and CIA. I think that they may become so complicated and ineffective that they are then nothing but an expensive burdon. Especially in regard to things that require a quick and decisive response, but get bogged down in paperwork and special committees. Maybe it would be worth starting over with them every so often... What are your thoughts?
