Someone says finding good keyword is 50% of work. I found 2 words keyphrase with 100k monthly searches :D and I don't think its so hard to get on 1st position.

Need an estimations and advices about content and backlink number because I will barely find 5 quality backlinks related to this topic

    1. result: PR4 1600 words article
    Keyword density: 5% + 2.5% (keyword1+keyword2= 7.5%)
    Keyphrase appearance: 8
Keyphrase in backlink: 10/18 (of total backlinks)

    2. result: PR3 800 words article
    Keyword density: 5.5% + 2.5% (8%)
    Keyphrase appearance: 5
    Keyphrase in backlink: 15/38

    3. result: PR2 700 words article
    Keyword density: 8.5% + 3.3% (11.8%)
    Keyphrase appearance: 4
    Keyphrase in backlink: 12/21

    4. result: PR3 1300 words article
    Keyword density: 3% + 3.5% (6.5%)
    Keyphrase appearance: 8
    Keyphrase in backlink: 1/15

    5. result: PR3 400 words article
    Keyword density: 2% + 4% (6%)
    Keyphrase appearance: 3
    Keyphrase in backlink: 0/1

Planing to write at least 3500 words article with keyword density 5%+2.5% and 10-15 times appearance. I'll post it on 6 months old blog with similar topic (even has keyword1 in domain name). Blog gets 10-20 Search engine visits from long-tail phrases that contain keyword1. So I will have 2-3 times stronger article but I will hardly find good backlinks... My question is: How many backlinks approximately will I need to boost site within first results? Will my much larger article but with only few backlinks be good enough to beat SERPs?

    Thanks for your time
