    Hey

I've been successfully running a campaign selling one specific item.

After 4 months I'm seeing a few copycat sites using exactly the same AdWord marketing, which is obviously taking away my sales.

It's got really bad now and I'm wondering what I can do.

Mine and his are the only two adverts at the top of the google search results.

    Any ideas?

I was thinking perhaps creating another site e.g. superproductonline.com and then setting up another advertising campaign so that I take his spot....

Is there anything against the AdWords TOS stopping me from doing this perhaps?

    I'm real desperate:mad:

If you try and promote the same keywords twice within the same account AdWords will only show the single top ranked ad per search, and if you try and set up an additional account you'll probably get banned altogether I'm afraid!

There's not really anything that you can do to kill off the opposition as long as they stay within the Google TOS; you just have to try and out-perform them with more creative ads and higher placements through higher bids or better click through rates.

Continue to test and innovate - competition can be a good thing since it forces you and your product/service to get better.

I know it's annoying, but that's the free market.

I'd be interested to read any follow up here in terms of the percentage impact the competitor is having - sorry if it's a bit nosey. Thanks.

:) Do not worry. Adjust and research all available options. Update marketing or find new source for customers and revenue. Good Luck.
