I just noticed my site had a Google visitor on the keyword *girls Even at #14, this has to be the best ranking I'll ever get out of 1.14 billion results:
Google search for 'girls' only shows 452,000,000 results (only ) but your not in top 20 for me. Just realised keyowrd is '*girls'... yeah, i see you at #14. Nice one...
Must be that PR6 link you bought off me Jack , nice to see your hard work and shrewd link placement pays off. By the way, are you interested in buying my whole site? Kind regards, Steve
#4 out of 2,940,000 and it gets me about 1400 hits per month. Of course the number of hits your going to get from high rank with a certain keywords depends on the number of searches done for it a month!
I was able to get #11 on google for Golf. I thought that was awesome! I did get alot of hits, but they didn't convert. So the real question is does the higher traffic convert to sales or long term visitors. Now I only get between 200-400 unique visitors per day (for one of my golf sites), but the conversion ratio is 1 in 100. If I were to receive 800 visitors per day but only get 1 in 400 then I sell less product (this actually happened). This is why it is important to infuse the conversion ratio into your stats. I have found it is more beneficial to go for terms that are closely related, but bring more traffic. Sometimes the broader searches just leave your site quickly. Just my opinion, but after 2 years of hard personal research, I make more money this way!
LOL, I just thought about something... I am #1 out of 12,500,000 and that probably brings in much more traffic than most of the #s posted prior to me.
