Be wary of linkmarket

If you are a linkmarket member, be wary of people you want to exchange links with.

I'm starting to notice a huge increase of people (most of them in fact) who will put your link up; but will put absoluately no link to that page so it'll ever get indexed, so its a totally worthless link. So, if you are a site that actually links to their links page, check out the partner's site on linkmarket before saying yes or no. You'll see more and more of them not linking to their "links" page at all - trying to game system.

I'm not sure if anything is being done about this, but it has gotten really bad as of late. I usually check my linkmarket account once or twice a week, and last time I did, I had about 50 people wanting to get links from me; and of those, 30-something of them had a links page that was inaccessible from any page on the site (as far as I could tell at least).

Linkmarket is pretty much useless. I have yet to receive one good link exchange request from there. It is a good idea, but without any kind of rules or serious moderation, it clearly does not work well.

I have exactly 1266 (there's no joke in that), link requests, out of which 1200 are pharmacy and casino SPAM :)

I have no trust in such link-exchange websites anymore.

I also have an account on http://www.linkmetro.com . IT's tha god damn same thing.

Haven;t received ONE good link , out of about 300 requests. Still pharmacy and casino and other god damn shit :)
